13.7 billion ago – according to the Big Bang theory – a tiny and highly energetic point spread out at breakneck speed, created space and time and formed our universe. Ever since man appeared on the scene as a thinking creature, he has been asking himself how the universe came into being, what it is made of and what is its destiny. The mission of the approximately 3,500 employees of the CERN laboratory in Geneva is to uncover answers to these questions.
For the "Globe of Science and Innovation" project housed in the visitor centre of this major European research facility, we produced an animated film show called "History of the Universe" for the experience’s main show, in cooperation with the lead agency Atelier Brückner.
