About

The extensive collection of fossils from the Permian period displays some of the most impressive and unique specimens in Europe. Thanks to the well-preserved archaeological finds and a unique scenography, visitors can see how their prehistoric ancestors conquered the land. Those who look closely may even discover mammal-like features.

A classic white-box exhibition with a 360-degree sound and light installation brings them to life again. Here, visitors can step into three zones of prehistoric life immersion: Aquatic, Mid-Aquatic and terrestrial.

In the Black Box, visitors embark on a spectacular interactive journey to the Permian period, which spanned from 299 to 252 million years ago. During this interactive and immersive journey through time, visitors awaken dinosaurs from their frozen lethargy, encounter a breathtaking Jimmadseni allosaur and observe Ceratopsids feeding.
