TMS created, developed and produced the centrepiece of the largest trade booth ever of Panasonic Europe – the Swipe+Share monument, a digital sculpture and real eye catcher at the Berlin consumer electronics trade fair IFA. A monumental sculpture with a total of sixty-eight 55-inch monitors welcomed visitors to a realistic underwater world. The displays react in real-time and can be accessed interactively using touchpads. Visitors can choose from different images of fish and other underwater creatures on a tablet and swipe them onto the underwater world of the monument. A yellow fish suddenly comes alive and joins a school of its kind, a whale dives into the deep only to swim past moments later on the monitors.
An interactive choreography of instantaneously transmitted fish comes into existence in the underwater world. Thereby, the "Swipe+Share" functionality, which Panasonic is advertising in its global “SmartViera” campaign, is multiplied by means of media: "Swipe+Share" describes the possibility to replay content on a "SmartTV" just by doing a swipe gesture in an app. In our monument, the "swiped" sea animals swim from one screen to another. The borders of the screens dissolve and create a dynamic picture in an epic size.
