OUR SPATIAL MULTIMEDIA AUDIO DRAMA LETS HISTORY COME ALIVE ON 1800 SQM AT THE FORTRESS OF DRESDEN
05.12.2019
TAMSCHICK MEDIA+SPACE staged the multimedia Festung Xperience for Staatliche Schlösser, Burgen und Gärten Sachsen as a permanent experiential exhibition. At the bastion fortress from the early days of Dresden, 500 years of city history can now be explored with a spatial multimedia audio drama. Its biggest uniqueness is that the fortress itself is the central exhibit in the otherwise largely immaterial staging. By means of projections, light and sound, the history of the fortress is being told immersively. TAMSCHICK MEDIA+SPACE has created an innovative exhibition format with known narrators and an emotional musical score, animated etchings and paintings as well as space-filling projections, letting history come alive at the authentic location. As the lead agency, TAMSCHICK MEDIA+SPACE developed and realised the entire media-based scenography from the idea to the implentation under the most demanding climatic conditions. festung-xperience.de

VIBRANT, INTERACTIVE MULTIMEDIA EXHIBITION BETWEEN EDUCATION AND ENTERTAINMENT: MÄRCHENWELTEN HAMBURG IS OPEN!
26.09.2019
For this entirely interactive and participatory exhibition, TAMSCHICK MEDIA+SPACE conceptualised and produced the media-based scenography. Painting, paper cutting, fabrics and mirrors are elements of traditional stage designs, which are being combined with modern light, sound and computer technology. In the treasure chamber, a museum-like room that is designed like a walk-in book, life and work of the Brothers Grimm are being presented by means of original exhibits such as scripts and illustrations. "Märchenwelten" is an exhibition with lasting impact, playfully alluding to our fundamental values in life, inspiring thought and furthering our togetherness.

PUBLICATIONS ON RETAIL DESIGN AND SCENOGRAPHY
25.02.2020
How can the retail sector respond to the changed requirements and wishes of customers of all generations and what retail concepts show perspectives for the new 20s? In the new Retail Design International 5, experts venture a look into the future and see a decade of collage that merges different spheres of life – hybrid spaces. TAMSCHICK MEDIA+SPACE is pleased to be featured with three projects: Brew You Ride – Heineken Experience, Amsterdam, Museo Lavazza Universo, Turin, and The Macallan Brand Experience, Craigellachie.
In „Szenografie – Das Kompendium zur vernetzten Gestaltungsdisziplin“ (to be released in March 2020; available only in German), Charlotte Tamschick describes in her essay “Aktion – Interaktion – Reaktion: Schritte zum unvergesslichen Besuchererlebnis”, how autoactive media are capable of invigorating spaces and exhibits by means of static and moving images. In combination with sound, they become walk-in sculptures that, once set into motion, continuously transform the space.

Charlotte Tamschick on the curatorial team at Raumwelten
14.08.2020
Charlotte Tamschick is a new member on the curatorial team at Raumwelten. Raumwelten is the leading industry event for scenography and communication in space in Germany. Every year, around 1,000 creative and media professionals meet in Ludwigsburg to find out about and exchange information on the most diverse aspects of communication in space. Under the motto "Raumwelten 20 2 0 2.0 - Please Install New Spatial System Now!", Raumwelten will address the issue in this year's edition in various panels on architecture, scenography and digital media: How does communication in space work in a (post-) pandemic time? What opportunities arise and what positive changes does the Corona crisis bring with it? Charlotte Tamschick will contribute her expertise and curate 2 panels. Besides Charlotte Tamschick, the curatorial team will be enriched by the plot makers Janina Poesch and Sabine Marinescu as well as Prof. Tobias Wallisser and Jean-Louis Vidière.

The OMV Innovation & Technology Center in Gänserndorf, Austria is now open!
22.09.2020
On 1600 sqm OMV conducts a world of experience and technological achievements. From finding to producing oil and gas each area of OMV is staged in its specific tailormade media scenography. In order to transform complex technical procedures to tangible media experiences TMS undertook an elaborate research phase in close cooperation with OMV experts. A 360° degree main show, in which visitors experience a virtual journey through geological layers at the tip of a drill core, represents the highlight of the experience. The exhibition was developed in cooperation with Archimedes Exhibitions and Kraftwerk.

Opening of the exhibition "XXHL, Gigatowers and Megabridges" in Paris
02.09.2020
TAMSCHICK MEDIA+SPACE has handed over the immersive exhibition "XXHL, gigatowers and megabridges" to the Cité des sciences et de l'industrie in Paris. We conceived and realized the entire media scenography of the 1400 sqm large temporary exhibition. We are especially proud of our AR App, which gives visitors the opportunity to augment architectural models and to explore engineering and scientific topics independently. From the Burj Khalifa in Dubai to the Millau Viaduct and the renovation project of the Montparnasse Tower in Paris, each building is dedicated to a specific theme. At partially interactive tables, innovative building materials, foundation techniques or the special statics of the gigatowers and mega-bridges can be explored.
The exhibition runs until 7 March 2021, so come and visit us!
