SPLENDOR. TEARS. DISASTERS. CLOSER THAN EVER
The Dresden Fortress is remarkably unknown, despite its public location under the internationally renowned Bruehl’s Terrace, which attracts about 4 million visitors each year. The Fortress is thereby known to be one of the most modern European fortresses of its time, originating in the 16th century.
After winning the competition, TAMSCHICK MEDIA+SPACE is currently developing and designing a new experience based permanent exhibition in coordination with Staatliche Schlösser, Burgen und Gärten Sachsen. The multimedia, multi-sensory and largely immaterial production turns visitors into actors and takes them on a journey through time, immersively telling the story of this 1500 sqm fortress.
We develop and produce the experience with a scope ranging from script, design and scenography, over animation, composition, light choreography, media planning and production to hardware implementation in challenging climatic conditions.
